Summary:
Nora was 72 years-old at date found
deceased, she was found beaten and suffering from stab wounds to her upper
chest in her kitchen by her son after returning from a friends home. Police
believe drugs were a factor in the crime. James is Nora’s grandson.
James was arrested in Pictou Landing
First Nation on unrelated charges. Police soon released that they were charging
James with Second-degree murder. His first court appearance was set for 31-Dec-07
were his charges were upgraded to First-degree murder. His second court
appearance was set for 7-Jan-08.
