Summary:

She was 7 weeks-old at DFD, she was beaten and shaken to death by her mother Justina. Her body was found in a trash can outside of Klondike Kat’s restaurant and Cabins in Dawson City on 15-Aug-04. The coroner’s report stated that Samara was badly beaten and died as a result of a skull fracture that caused bleeding in and on the brain. The coroners report also stated she was bruised from head to toe with 18 broken ribs.

Justina was arrested on 16-Aug-04 and charged with Second-degree murder in connection with Samara’s death. On 25-Nov-04 Justina pled guilty to Manslaughter and was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
