Summary:

He was 4 months-old at DFD, his mother was hit from behind by a run away tire from a Municipal truck that should not have been allowed on the road. He later died from Blunt force trauma injuries to his head from his mother falling on him. The Coroner requested and inquest into the accident.

The truck was found to be in un-operable standards and request that all truck undergo safety checks due to the amount of recent accidents involving faulty equipment by municipal vehicles.

Summary:

She was 50 years-old at DFD, she was hit by a Municipal truck as she walked towards Northmart in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

Simeonie was driving the truck and knew that the backing signal didn’t work and backed the truck up over her. He was fined $57.50 of causing her death with no jail time.
