Summary:

Unsure if she is First Nations

She was 13 years-old at DFD, she was lured into Olson, Clifford car with a promise of a job in South Surry. Clifford then drugged her, raped and beat her to death with a hammer. Clifford was arrested on 12-Aug-81 and charged with 11 counts of First-degree murder. As part of his deal the police paid him $100, 000 to give the locations of his victims. On 18-Jul-89 he was pled guilty and sentenced to 11 consecutive Life terms in prison.

Terri Lyn Carson, Louise Chartrand, Ada Court, Daryn Johnsrude, Raymond King, Judy Kozma, Simon Partington, Christine Weller, Sandra Wolfsteiner and Sigrum Charlotte Elisabeth Arnd are Clifford’s other victims.

Summary:

He was 29 years-old at DFD, he died while in police custody. RCMP officers responded to a call of a man running through traffic. RCMP claim that Anthany suffered a heart attack in the back of the cruiser and he died 2 days later. There were no drugs or alcohol in his system at DFD.

During the Coroner’s Inquest 8 witnesses testified that they seen Constable Sheldon hitting Anthany and that Anthany was not resisting arrest. The coroner’s jury found that he died of anoxic encephalopathy with tonsillar herniation due to restraint-associated cardiac arrest, agitated delirium and hyperthermia die to episodic metabolic crisis and positional asphyxia. In English, he was choked to death during a seizure. But two autopsy reports could not determine for a fact what caused his death.

Summary:

She was 29 years-old at DFM, she was First Nations/Black/Mexican heritage and was adopted before her first birthday by the DeVries family in Apr-70. She is survived by two children (a son and a daughter), her mother, father and 3 siblings. Her children now live in Guelph, Ontario with their grandmother and great aunt. In Apr-98 she disappeared from Downtown Eastside Vancouver. She was last seen in the early morning of 14-Apr-98. Her DNA was found on the Robert’s Coquitlam pig farm. It is believed that her body was dismembered and fed to the animals on the farm.

Robert was arrested and charged with multiple counts of First-degree murder on 22-Feb-02. Robert’s trail was set for 8-Jan-07.

An 18 month investigation on the farm found approximately 32 different female DNA sources through out the property. Only 27 charges were originally placed against Robert with approximately 4 other women’s cases either pending identification or more evidence.

Judge James Williams placed a publication ban on court proceedings on 6-Dec-02. He also rejected one un-identified female for lack of evidence on 2-Mar-06. On 9-Aug-06 he reduced the charges again from 26 to 6 counts with the opportunity to seek another trail for the other 20 cases after the conclusion of the first trail.

Robert was arrested and charged with First-degree murder in 27-Oct-02. His trail was set for 14-Jul-05. On 15-Sept-05 he was found guilty and sentence to life with no possibility for parole for 25 years.
