Summary:

 

He was 18 year-old at DFD, he was stabbed and shot by Terence, Damien and Travis on 7-Jul-05 in the foyer of an apartment building. Police issued a warrant for their arrest and 4 days after the murder one of the suspects turned themselves into police and several days later the other two suspects turned themselves in to police custody. They were all charged with Second-degree murder.

On 8-Sept-05 Crown prosecutors stayed second-degree murder and possession of a weapon dangerous the public charges against Miller. If more evidence comes to light within the next year the charges against Miller could be reactivated.

On 22-Dec-05 Opio pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 5 years with 20 months credit for the 10 months spent in pre-trial custody on 9-May-6.

On 22-Dec-05 Rusnak pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of Manslaughter in an adult court. On 24-Jan-06 Rusnak was handed a 7 year sentence to be served in adult prison less one year for time served.
